If your response to a horrible situation, like the US helping Jews slaughter Muslims and Christians in Gaza is “I’m praying about it,” you are really saying, “I’m doing nothing about it.”

add

'but feel virtuous about it like a good Christian that I am. In fact it is an independent initiative all my own because John Hagee didn't tell us to pray for them.

Beyond prayer and posting stuff on the very few sites that don't censor, like Substack, what exactly am I supposed to do? Write a letter to my Prime Minister, Rothschild minion and rabid Zionist Mark Carnage? Or my Member of Parliament and rabid Zionist Randall Garrison, who just sat there with his thumb jammed up his ass while my home was stolen from me and demolished?

The four years of the Covid Fraudemic proves how useful that would be.

PS and oh yes: Seems all the politicians in this shithole country are Rabid Zionists... 🤔💩

Yes, this post should have been a note, as I originally intended, because I didn't really flesh it out. My objection isn't to prayer, per se, but to prayer as a substitute for action. In other words, when people avoid doing something difficult that requires moral courage by telling themselves they'll pray about it.

The most useful book I have ever read about prayer and religion has to be "The Trickster and the Paranormal" by George Hansen. It's dense, it's scholarly, took me three tries to get through it. A close second might be "Vicars of Christ" by Peter de Rosa...🤔

My life between August 2017 and July 2022 was quite literally Hell-on-Earth thanks to "The Demons in Charge" as Steve Eyes calls them.(https://www.bitchute.com/channel/LzzSQpmQ4HUK) Since then? Well, got my job back but we're hanging on by the skin of our teeth, and the monsters responsible? They're still in power. They've not been apprehended; short of a lynch mob they'll never be held to account. The present Prime Murderer of Canada, Mark Carnage and the leader of the Opposition, Pierre Poilievre? Both total Zionists, totally committed to the support of Israel and to Hell with Canada.. thus in staid little outpost-of-empire Victoria BC there's homeless encampments everywhere you look, but if you're caught with a pistol to defend yourself the cops will arrest you immediately. I've no idea how much Canada is sending to the Murder State of Israel, they're not saying but guaranteed it's more than we can afford, not to mention the appalling amount of money squandered via commercial loans because that cocksucking bastard Justin Castreau signed the UN Compact on Migration on our unwitting behalf; $50,000 tax free, per migrant, per year!! Plus we have to to pay for their transit to get here. And pay for their domicile after they've arrived. And pay for their food. And pay for their clothing. And pay for documents should that be necessary. And pay for language training. And pay for vocational training. And pay for Consular visits. And pay their legal fees should it be necessary. And oh yeah?! Pay for medical and dental care!

And guess who's responsible for THAT abomination?

Meanwhile the stuff I'm seeing on Substack every bloody day that the Isrealis are doing, and the number of Jews heartily supporting the slaughter if not indeed REJOICING in it! 😱 While we all suffer under a degree of corruption enough to gag an army of maggots... Surely Craig, we are living in some region in Hell. I'm like Fox Mulder, I want to believe, but as I said to my Dad while he was still with us and he heartily agreed, "The Lord is a weak reed in time of trouble"...

Saw a meme yesterday and wanted to share, but apparently can't send images in the comments.

It said: You can pray all you want but eventually David had to pick up a stone and act against Goliath

I mean just anything out in the real world, even if it's just expressing your opposition to the Gaza genocide to your next door neighbor over your backyard fence--assuming you have a neighbor who speaks English. You said it perfectly and you said it in the real world: "I'm totally grieved by the situation in Gaza"

Aaron Bushnell said it perfectly, too. Many of us like to ask ourselves...

Thoughts do manifest and in-fact the root of any thing is the power of thought. For my part I am currently engaged in responding to the fraudulent claims/activity in the financial industry. Those that receive my words secure in their offices cannot escape but read about the reality of the legal fiction state of Israel. Oh yes, they can ignore but I remind them, their act becomes complicit of murder for they are aiding the act of murder. Just like Keir Starmer is complicit of murder by the act of suppling military spares for Israel to continue their criminal activity. And let us not over look the fact that without finance from the world bankers, the bullshit of Israel can't continue.

DesCartes was wrong. It’s not “I think. Therefore, I am.”? I prefer the Australian Philosopher's interpretation: "I drink, therefore I am". 😇

Jeezus, lady. I can't even begin to confront your epistle become tome until you discover and utilize that phenomenon known in the English language as the 'p.a.r.a.g.r.a.p.h.'

Old eyes only detect a wall of words that turn into a blur. I'll be glad to consider your thoughts once re-ordered.

I didn’t see it, but I get your drift. I think it is so disrespectful and lazy to write without proper punctuation or grammar. I teach kids writing and I tell them their job is to properly punctuate and spell. I refuse to read any written material where someone has so little respect for themselves or their potential readers that they cannot perform a common courtesy. My job as a reader is not to do your work for you, and try to figure out where a comma or a period or a capital letter belongs.

Hi David, it’s better that I deleted it - I was just trying to say that thoughts are a form of invisible energy which also includes prayers, that prayers are not insignificant

I read through it and was going to say I agree with everything, though have some quibbles with the first paragraph.

Yes, I'm not discounting prayer or thought. That's why I say they are "quasi-real." But they should never substitute for action.

Thanks Craig, actions are vital especially when authenticating who we claim to be (in thought and in words). Your post was extremely interesting, it raised the idea of invisible energy which is extremely fascinating ik all of its many forms. Happy weekend to you Craig and thanks for your message
