When I first read the subtitle for this article, I groaned inwardly. Oh, no, please don’t tell me this erudite substacker I was so thrilled to discover has been taken in by the climate hoax?!

Of course, every hero has his flaws, but surely Odysseus would not be immolated on the spear of a self-righteous, spoiled teenaged girl from Sweden?

How does that saying go – the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.

Well, I was very relieved to get to the end of the article with our dear Odysseus’ integrity fully intact. In fact, this is probably one of the most original analyses of the climate change issue that I’ve read.

And I’ve read a great deal on this topic. I am old enough to remember when climate change first became a “thing,” sometime in the late 1980s. As a conscientious young adult, I was as swept up by the concerns about environmental destruction as anyone, and I dutifully spent over a decade worrying that it was just a matter of time before we burnt ourselves up to a crisp.

Of course, when they started having to “move the goal posts” all the time, I got suspicious. Then Goldman Sachs said climate change was real, and I got more suspicious. Now, it’s just gone full-blown ludicrous.

And I think this essay does a really good job of examining what the real underlying motives were all along.

"Climate change" back then was still "Global Warming"! A label the Nuclear lobby started to use in order to try to boost the SELLING of NPP around the Planet. Didn't went very well. Specially after the FUN event at Ukraine.

Of course that Plenty of Billionaires saw there an opportunity to INCREASE Power & Wealth. And since the Secular Ruling Families also wanted to achieve the same... New protocols came to order and the re-brand of "Global Warming" arose.

We're Today in the propaganda "CLIMATE CHANGE". I do believe that this slogan is much better. After all NO ONE can deny that the CLIMATE does CHANGE...

I reached this very good (for me far too long article) thanks to the author leaving a link for it in one of my depictions of "Climate Change" https://voza0db.substack.com/p/morons-just-dont-get-it-92c

There's SO MUCH to say about this whole issue; I have copies of reports from the World Resources Inst., one of the biggest climate NGOs in the world, and they overall show how the whole "race to zero" has stalled. Every few years, countries (known in "Paris" lingo as "Parties" as in "Conference of the Parties" though "Consolidating Our Power" is more accurate) update their National Contributions (to the "race") but I think that only Fiji has achieved its so far. So, Craig, let me know if you want to see any of those reports (many from S. Amer and India and China---or as the current jargon goes, "the Global South."). Another thing I got from what's-his-butt's speech was that the key to the whole thing is the---wait for it---Narrative! The point is to get the "Global Public" to think along these climate-change, -adaptation lines and get on board (ask any 12 yr old what the biggest threat to the world is: CC). Finally, I would add another point to your algorithm: if some piece of writing uses the term "stakeholders" it is automatically suspect.

Never mind those two little Os in that CO2 is virtually the only source of oxygen, after plants split the CO2 and uses it to produce chlorophyll, for every organism on earth.
