John Hagee is mentally I’ll and possessed by demons. Sir Thomas Beecham the great conductor was once asked if he had heard any Schoenberg. No he said but I stepped in some. My reaction to John Hagee is the same.

I think you are unfair to John Hagee. I have not been so fortunate as to know him personally but from what I know about him he is a man whose trajectory in life taught him to see God's will where many others can't. Early on he was a scrawny guy struggling to make ends meet because carnivals where he was imparting Light to the masses are not dependable means of making it. Then he discovered Israel, the Holy Land that the Scofield Bible certifies as the ancient and eternal state for Jews and he also noticed that while naysayers who talk disrespectfully of it don't fare so well in life, those who worship it it and urge the Gentiles to support it do quite well. It means, he concluded, that God blesses those who love Israel. He knew it was so when he received a private jet as a gift, and to make God's will even more apparent, this gift came from Israel!

He is nor scrawny now; he is a man of gravitas in all connotations of the world. He gives Israel the best of him, his energy in convincing his parishioners to give the best they have to Israel: their money. The must if they want to go to Heaven. Retired or still working, if they can only spare $5 or $10 a week, they should give unstintingly. Because it all adds up since they are millions. God will reward them in the next life.

A man of God indeed!

Nothing says one's heart is right with Jesus like owning your own jet aircraft.

I saw a photo of him appearing somewhere with the "conservative" radio host, Mark Levin, at a Bombs for Babies event. The camera had captured Levin looking at him pure contempt.

Love the Beecham quote. Schoenberg was a favorite of Theo Adorno, cultural Marxist extraordinaire.

Is there humor or a story or numerological symbolism behind *I'll*? Or is it just a typo? I was a proofreader in a former incarnation and often get triggered by flagrant grammatical deviations.

That looks like one of those text-swiping smart phone deviations.

Anyone or any organisation that asks for money “to do God’s work” is either deluded or damnable. The nearest Jesus came to money was the coin with Caesar’s head on it and his response was “pay to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” Jesus came to save Israel but they did not listen and their religious leaders murdered him slyly using the Roman authorities to cover their crime of deicide. His message of redemption and salvation was then made available for all. A few decades later the Romans wiped out Israel and spread the remaining Jews throughout the empire where in small numbers they could do less harm to others and themselves. Reestablishing the state of Israel in the 20th century is a serious mistake but don’t take my word for that. Lord Rothschild in the early part of the century tried to warn the Zionists that it was not a good idea with no good outcome for the Jewish people as a whole. My fear is that he will be proved right given the latest mass murder by the state of Israel against the Palestinians and the backlash internationally and Particularly in the Middle East that is already gathering momentum.

Can your yard sign be adapted to poster sign to carry in demonstrations? People w/o a yard could use it that way.
